    Licensing & Software Maintenance

    VisNetic MailFlow is licensed per server. The size of the MailFlow license will determine how many Agents can use the software. A new license purchase includes a 1-year Maintenance Contract. Maintenance includes Upgrade Protection and Technical Support. Upgrade Protection entitles you to all new releases of VisNetic MailFlow at no additional cost. Technical Support entitles you to free Email and Live Chat support with Deerfield engineers. Deerfield Communications offers additional Priority Support contracts that include remote assistance. VisNetic MailFlow Maintenance may be renewed annually.

    VisNetic MailFlow licensing is based on the number of configured “Agents” (e.g., unique user accounts). A 3 Agent license would allow the Administrator and two additional Agents access to the MailFlow server. MailFlow is available in 3, 6, 12, 25, 50, 100, etc Agent license sizes.

    There are two distinct download scenarios for VisNetic MailFlow, depending upon whether or not you already meet the database requirements. If you don't already meet the database requirements, the second download scenario below provides you with a free database server engine. VisNetic MailFlow may be downloaded from Here

    A new license purchase includes a 1-year Maintenance Contract. Maintenance includes Upgrade Protection and Technical Support. Upgrade Protection entitles you to all new releases of VisNetic MailFlow at no additional cost. Technical Support entitles you to free Email and Live Chat support with Deerfield engineers. Deerfield Communications offers additional Priority Support contracts that include remote assistance. VisNetic MailFlow Maintenance may be renewed annually.

    Upgrade Protection entitles you to all new releases of VisNetic MailFlow at no additional cost. Upgrade Protection is included in MailFlow's Maintenance Contract. All new MailFlow purchases include a 1-year Maintenance Contract and may be renewed annually.

    It is still possible to use the product, but you will not be able to upgrade past the last version released when your Maintenance was still valid. You are no longer eligible for technical support provided by Deerfield technicians. We strongly recommend renewing your Maintenance.

    The cost of VisNetic MailFlow Maintenance is approximately 30% of the current new license purchase, if purchased while "in-term". The renewal cost for expired Maintenace contracts is 50% of the current new license purchase. As you can see there is a considerable price advantage for renewing in-term.

    In some cases you may wish to upgrade hardware or change operating systems. The license may be moved to another system however per the MailFlow End User License Agreement (EULA), before bringing the new MailFlow server online, you must remove the license from the previous server by either uninstalling the software or taking the system permanently offline. Second server or "backup" licenses are available at a discount.

    VisNetic MailFlow includes a 30-day fully functional trial for unlimited users. When the 30-day trial expires,only the Admin account will have access to MailFlow and a valid license must installed. The trial begins from the date of install.

    Beginning with VisNetic MailFlow v5.0 supported browsers include: Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Apple Safari. MailFlow versions prior to MailFlow 5 require Internet Explorer.

    Technical Support

    Many of the technical support questions that we receive from customers come during their initial deployment. To assist customers during this installation phase, Deerfield offers complimentary email support. Submit Ticket

    With valid annual Software Maintenance, each license is entitled to free email and live chat support. 1-year of Software Maintenance is included with the purchase of VisNetic MailFlow and may be renewed annually.

    Yes. Technical support is provided to users with valid Software Maintenance only. Several free online options exisit including the MailFlow KnowledgeBase, VisNetic MailFlow Admin & Agent Guides.

    VisNetic MailFlow Priority Support includes Priority Email, Live Chat, and Scheduled Remote Assistance.

    VisNetic MailFlow Installation/Upgrade/Migration Support entitles customer to Remote Assistance, Email and Live Chat options for assistance with Moving MailFlow and SQL Database to a new Server, Migrating, Upgrading, and Installing VisNetic MailFlow.

    Deerfield Email and Priority Support Agreements are designed to assist you with your day to day support needs, and are available during office hours Monday - Friday 8-5 PM EST.

    Email and Priority Support Agreements may also be used for installation, upgrades, and migrations however there is no guarantee of an immediate response, and assistance may not be available until the next business day.

    Deerfield 7/24/365 Priority Support Agreements include all the benefits of a Priority Support Agreement plus a guaranteed 1 hour response time, all the time.

    We introduced Installation/Migration/Upgrade Support Agreements to accommodate customers that prefer to perform these processes after working hours, and our standard support is typically only available 8-5 Eastern.

    The Installation/Migration/Support Agreements allow you to schedule the process with a support engineer, who will be online and available via a remote session should any issues arise.
